What We Believe

We believe in One Living God who manifests Himself in three persons, Father, Son and Holy Spirit.

We believe that through the introduction of willful disobedience, sin and death entered into this good creation causing every aspect of creation to suffer a lack or depravation from its created good.

God’s promise of restoration and redemption was worked out among the members of the Godhead before the creation of the world. In His sovereign mercy, God decided to allow the eternal and holy Son of God, whom we know as Jesus, to become incarnate as a man. In coming Jesus laid aside His  equality with the Father and chose not to act upon His divine nature while He walked as man. Jesus was born of a virgin, and He lived a perfect life free from sin, a life marked by doing the will of God. He died a cruel death on the cross He did not deserve.

As humans, we must repent of our sin and believe in Jesus Christ as our Lord and Savior. Man is saved completely by the grace of God and not by any measure of our own work or merit.

We believe that God’s will is expressed perfectly and finally in the Holy Scriptures. It is a perfect treasure of divine instruction. It has God for its author, salvation for its end, and truth, without any mixture of error, for its substance. Therefore, all Scripture is inspired by God and is totally true and trustworthy.

We Believe that the New Testament church is manifested visibly through an autonomous local congregation of baptized believers, associated by covenant in the faith and fellowship of the gospel.

We observe the two ordinances Christ gave to the church which are Baptism and the Lord’s Supper.

We believe that every member of this Body is given special gifts by God which He intends to be used in the completion of His mission here on earth. It is each member’s responsibility to lend him - or her-self to the work that must be accomplished. To that end, we believe that there are NO INSIGNIFICANT or UNNECESSARY members. You are valuable to God and the Kingdom and you are valuable to us as a collective body.
